It is time to start thinking about spring break and making your plans. That might be a bit difficult with things like jobs, midterms, and other responsibilities that seem to flood our lives, and really, spring break just can’t get here soon enough. Here are a few things that you can do before Spring Break to make sure that you reach your maximum when it comes to productivity and fun in the weeks before your break.

Take a Unique and Fun Workout Class

You had a New Year’s resolution to lose that freshman 15, remember?  Now is the time to get in shape and bounce back before spring break by taking a hot yoga or fun dance class.  You will definitely not be ashamed to rock that swim suit when you are in Cabo during break.  Additionally, you will feel great!

Do Good

It’s important to know that even as stressed as you might be at this moment, there is always someone in the world who has it worse than you. Springtime is always one of those times when philanthropies are popping up in the Greek communities at colleges too. Putting in a bit of extra effort into giving back can really go far. You can get a bit of life experience by being a volunteer for your community for a few hours a week. This can turn your and someone else’s mood around before you head off on vacation for a week!

Take Some You Time

The above mentioned activities are great for keeping your metabolism going while also keeping your karma in check. However, it is also critical to keep your needs in check and as such, you do need to power down every so often. It can be easy to find yourself being consumed by the stress of classes, and life in general, but remember that every once in a while, you need a break too. Take the day to spend some time chilling with friends or family, or just enjoy a Netflix in bed day. It will be worth it!
