This drawing is sponsored and administered by Sazerac Company, 10101 Linn Station Rd #400, Louisville, KY 40223 (“Sponsor”).

Void where prohibited by law. Do not proceed if you are located in a jurisdiction where drawings are prohibited or restricted by law or subject to registration requirements. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Any issues concerning the validity, interpretation or enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed and evaluated in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Ohio.

The drawing entry period begins at 12:01 A.M. Eastern time on April 6, 2023 and ends at 11:59 P.M. Eastern time on April 16, 2023.

Who Can Enter

Drawing is open to any adult 18 years of age and older who was directly contacted by Sponsor to take part in the survey. (If the age of majority in your jurisdiction is different from 18, you must be the age of majority within your jurisdiction.) Residents of jurisdictions where drawings are either prohibited or restricted by law or subject to registration are not eligible to participate. This drawing is not open to employees of Sponsor or members of their immediate family and persons living in the same household. In these rules, “immediate family” means parents, children, siblings and spouse, regardless of where they reside.

How to Enter

You may enter the drawing by following the link in your invitation to the survey website. By completing the survey in its entirety, you will be automatically entered. To enter without completing the survey, print your full name, postal address, city, state, zip code, telephone number and complete e-mail address on a 3” X 5” card, insert it in a stamped envelope, and mail it to:

Participation in the drawing is not required in order to participate in the survey. If your beliefs, culture, etc. prohibit you from participating in any type of drawing to receive a gift card, but you would like to continue with the survey, you will be given the opportunity to opt out of participating in the drawing at the end of the survey.

All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on the expiration date of the drawing entry period. There is a limit of one entry per person invited to participate in the survey. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means are void. Mail-in entries may not be mechanically reproduced. Altered or forged entries are not allowed. Facsimile entries will not be accepted. Any mail-in entry that is illegible, unintelligible, incomplete, late, delayed, damaged, mutilated, or does not carry proper postage will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for lost or misdirected entries. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Prize

Winners will receive (1) $500 virtual Amazon gift card.  The total value of the prize is $500 (USD). In total, five (5) prizes will be awarded.  Prize is non-transferable/non-saleable. No substitution of the prize is permitted, except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability at time of award. Reporting and payment of all federal, state, local or other applicable taxes and other expenses in connection with prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Selection of Winners

Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The drawing will take place within 15 days after the end of the drawing entry period. All decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding in all matters related to the drawing. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by e-mail within 15 days of the drawing and must claim their prize by e-mail within 10 days of that notification by replying to the e-mail notification with their current postal address. Prizes will be mailed within 30 days of receipt of prizewinner’s claim.

Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. Winners may be required to sign and return, properly executed, a release of liability, affidavit of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules, and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within 10 days of acknowledged notification. By accepting and/or using prize, each winner agrees to the use of his/her first and last name, place or residence, voice, and/or likeness, as well as any quotation the winner is willing to provide, for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion, including online announcements, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected potential winner cannot be contacted by e-mail, is ineligible or fails to comply with any of the requirements, fails to respond to the prize notification within 10 days of issuance of notification, or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and either an alternate potential winner will be selected through another random drawing or prize amount will be donated to the charity of the Sponsor’s choice. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account at the time of entry.

Conditions

By entering, each participant, without limitation, agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final. Entrants agree to release and hold Sponsor and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, successors, agents and representatives of Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, licensees, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, judging or fulfillment agencies, current clients and legal advisors harmless from any and all injuries, losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions or any kind arising in connection with the drawing or resulting from the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, privacy rights or invasion of privacy.

If, for any reason this drawing is not capable of running as planned, or if infection by a computer virus, bug, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of this drawing, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant or to modify, terminate, cancel or suspend, in whole or in part, the drawing. Sponsor does not charge for connecting to surveys. Any participants who pay for Internet access will be responsible for paying for connect time at their appropriate rates.

Any attempt to damage any online service or website or undermine the legitimate operation of the drawing is a violation of criminal or civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to prosecute violators and seek damages to the fullest extent allowable by law.
